There is a crisis of leadership in the world today. It seems as though the growing trend of burnt-out, devastated, weary and failing leaders of today is… well… growing. Even more specifically we find the issues facing those who deliver a message of hope in the story of the gospel even more troubling. We know how difficult this journey through ministry, business, family and relationships can be, because we have ALL lived it.
Our hope at Harbor Ministries is to be an aid, a community, a deeply restful place and a resource for both emerging and seasoned leaders of today.We hope that through relationships we might help to network people and resources together, to come alongside these very leaders and their families and help set a course toward a balanced life, a resilient faith and a life of rhythm that may leave a legacy and finish well.
Leadership is many times a lonely and desolate path. As a result there are many young and more seasoned leaders today that need a Harbor. A place they can go to change the pace of their lives. A place to be resourced, restored, rest, listen and find the inspiration they need for the next steps of their journey. The end game? Resilient leaders who are deeply connected with God, others, and the dreams that God has given them. Leaders ready to multiply this balance, resilience and rhythm in their own world of influence,- that the face of leadership might be changed forever.
