Tim Bohlke –
Founding Director

Tim has spent the last 25 years building into the lives of leaders in a variety of roles and contexts. He has received a Bachelors in Education and Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. He is certified in the leader and manager training at Gallop University. He is also a certified Life Planner/Coach and in collaboration with Authentic Leadership he is a certified facilitator of Pause Events. Both Life Planning and Pause are intensive leadership Development experiences for strategic leaders in ministry and business.

In addition to his real passion of being a husband and father, Tim has experienced the challenging, difficult and sometimes rough seas of leadership as a teacher, coach, and counselor. Tim was the Executive Director of one of the larger Youth for Christ chapters in the country for 15 years. During his watch, and at times in spite of himself, he saw God grow the ministry from 2 to over 40 salaried employees. Despite the growth of the organization and the leaders in it, they remained relentlessly committed to their mission, significantly widened their impact, and remained passionate about building into the lives of leaders at all levels. Most recently he is the Directional Pastor over multiple areas of ministry at Lincoln Berean Church.

Through all these experiences, and through the journey of personal failures and successes, he has remained passionate about creating a HARBOR, a place he has needed many times himself, that would come alongside leaders, reminding them of God’s grace, forgiveness and restoration. A place that will encourage them to keep seeking the mystery of God’s calling, to keep pursuing God to live life with a sense of rhythm, to invest deeply in their families, and to understand what it means to finish well.

Not only is Tim deeply committed to the mission of the Harbor, but he’s equally committed to the lives of our very own team and our families.

Ben Harms — RHYTHMinTWENTY Director

As the loud, scrappy, overly passionate one of the bunch, Ben is the team member that never stops dreaming of what could be. Ben previously worked for six years as an area director for Campus Life, in which he oversaw multiple high school and middle school ministries. As of recent, he’s a graduate from Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, WA with his masters degree in Christian Studies. The rainy city stole his family’s heart, where they currently find themselves dreaming of what God has for them next .

Coming from a broken home from which his father was an overseas missionary, pastor and even marriage and family counselor, he knows first hand just how desperately leaders need to learn to care for themselves and families before they ever try to take on the world. He and his wife Whitney (he married up… way up) also shoot photography for a living.

Kyle Dellevoet  — Leader Accomplice

Kyle, greatly passionate about up and coming leaders, is a connoisseur of all things relevant. Kyle currently runs a campus ministry at his alma mater, the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He has spent the last fourteen years ministering to college and high school students in a variety of settings including church, para-church, and house church settings. He and his wife Jody are the parents of four crazy boys: Reese Payton, Jackson, and Hudson.

Kyle has a deep seeded passion and gifting for reaching this next generation. Specifically he desires to see young men reach their full potential as followers of Christ and as next generation leaders.

Scott Christiansen  — Leader Accomplice

Growing up in Lincoln, Nebraska, Scott was introduced to three loves of his life: Jesus, his wife Cathy, and Nebraska football. Scott’s relationship with Jesus so transformed his life that he left his job as a high school teacher to become a full-time youth pastor.

Scott has since moved on to become the senior pastor at Westwood Church in Omaha, Nebraska where he leads a vibrant community dedicated to building God’s kingdom. Scott married his high school sweetheart and they now have three sons. He is most alive when spending time with Jacob, Benjamin and Zachary.

Dale Phillips  – Leader Accomplice

‘Once upon a time. . .’ Ever since he was a kid Dale has loved stories. If he couldn’t find a story to read, watch or listen to he’d make one up. Now into his 6th decade, Dale still loves stories. He sees the Bible as one grand story filled with stories all meant to impact our story.

Some highlights from his own story are: receiving and walking in Jesus, accepting the greatest gift ever given him (beside Jesus) his wife Beth, being blessed with 3 great kids – two young adults in Omaha, one in heaven and recently welcoming a daughter-in-law into the family. Whether serving on staff at churches, as a long term pastor or following the Lord into a story centered ministry venture – CareActor Inc.–Dale’s passion has been and is helping others find and live out God’s dream for them as they live out of their stories. Dale is honored and privileged to be helping persons do just that as they come into the relational network of Harbor Ministries.
